Sustainability Day and electronics collection
The McMaster community is invited to join in a celebration of our culture of sustainability at the fifth-annual McMaster University Sustainability Day. The event will take place Thursday, Oct. 18 in the MUSC Marketplace from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This year’s event will feature community partners highlighting their contribution to sustainability, as well as free Fair Trade coffee available for those who bring a reusable mug, and free local apples.
Collection of used electronics equipment will also take place at several locations on Thursday. Items will be collected at the Ewart Angus Centre, the Institute of Applied Health Sciences (lobby), the McMaster Innovation Park (loading dock), the Downtown Centre (underground parking lot), the Ron Joyce Centre (main lobby) and in front of the John Hodgins Engineering Building.
Sustainability Day also coincides with the release of the Office of Sustainability Annual Report. Click here for more information.
