Progress continues as the University and CAW Local 555 negotiate a renewed collective agreement. The union represents about 2200 support and technical staff at McMaster.
Both parties have reached agreement on significant portions of the new contract. Further negotiating dates are confirmed for September and October. The current agreement expires August 31 and as negotiations continue, the terms of that agreement will remain in effect.
