Come join us September 9 in person at MDCL 3020 to hear about the current scope of sickle cell disease and avenues of advocacy.
Our amazing speakers are Dr. Madeleine Verhovsek, the chief of medicine at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, and Ufuoma Muwhen, founder of advocacy group ‘NotJustYou’.
Free lunch and Amazon gift card giveways will be provided for registrant/attendees! This is an amazing opportunity to gain educational/professional development as well as network for those interested medicine or healthcare.
Additionally, we have an opportunity for students to get involved and become blood donors on September 10.
