Ride to Conquer Cancer coming to McMaster on June 7 and 8, 2025
McMaster University will host more than 4,000 cyclists, staff, and volunteers for the 18th annual Ride to Conquer Cancer on June 7 and 8, 2025.
Proceeds from the 200-kilometre ride between Toronto and Niagara Falls directly benefit the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the top five cancer research centres in the world. Each year it brings thousands together to help accelerate life-saving cancer research.
McMaster will serve as a halfway point, hosting riders for an evening ceremony on 10-Acre Field. Housing & Conference Services will also house over 2,700 overnight guests within their residence buildings.
“Hosting the Ride to Conquer Cancer is always a meaningful highlight for so many across McMaster,” said Laurie Ham, Senior Manager, Conference & Event Services. “It’s a powerful example of what we can accomplish when campus partners come together with a shared purpose. Our staff are proud to play a hands-on role in supporting this incredible cause and the community behind it.”
Expect increased traffic around campus leading up to June 7 and during the event. Lot H will be closed until June 10.
