Graduate students from across the faculties have been flexing their creative muscles, crafting one-minute films describing their research.
GradFlix allows video-makers to tell their story using animations, original music, dance, poetry, even humour – while still focusing on improving communication skills with non-specialist audiences.
The top three GradFlix winners will receive cash prizes and the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Communicating Graduate Research, to be given at the annual Graduate Student Recognition Awards reception on April 22.
Preliminary adjudication is over and now, 11 films will be screened during the Showcase and winners will be announced.
