The Canadian population age is shifting higher, part of a global trend as people live longer and birthrates decline. In fact the fastest growing age group is of people 100 and over.

Dr. Parminder Raina, a professor in the department of Health Research Methods, Evidence and Impact, describes some important findings and implications for older individuals and society, from a long-term study he leads following 50,000 adults recruited in 2010 aged between 45 and 85.

Everyone welcome. No registration. The talk is free, but parking charges vary on campus. See www.haalsa.org for details and advice. Also close to HSR bus stops.
