McMaster will lower the flags on campus to half-mast on Monday, Jan. 13,  in memory of Rachel Brown, who died on Dec. 29.

Brown, the program coordinator for Disability Services in Student Accessibility Services, was known for her commitment to advocacy and support for students with disabilities.

Her dedication to inclusion, accessibility and education was part of her lifelong focus on serving and supporting others, both professionally and as a volunteer.

Brown’s innovative work in developing accessible programs, materials and supports received recognition from her peers and leaders in the disability community.

A service for Brown will be held on Friday, Jan. 10, and a celebration of her life will be on Saturday, Jan. 11. Click here for more information.
