Network maintenance this weekend: Temporary service impact

Due to necessary maintenance work occurring Jan. 19 – 21, various applications, including Mosaic, will be temporarily unavailable. There may also be short interruptions to other network services.

Friday, Jan. 19, 6 p.m. to Saturday Jan. 20, 6 a.m.

The following applications will be unavailable during this time while UTS conducts a mandatory update to the university’s Oracle Databases:

Mosaic,
Jira,
Jira SD,
IAM,
UA,
Infosilem,
BI,
Service Bus (OSB),
MDSS,
ROA, and
Hyperion

Sunday, Jan. 21, 7:30 a.m. – 9 a.m.

During this time, short interruptions to services hosted in the UTS Data Centre can be expected while UTS conducts maintenance on the data centre.

Any longer unanticipated interruptions related to this work will be communicated on the McMaster IT Systems Dashboard.

This maintenance work is part of an ongoing effort to increase the reliability and performance of McMaster’s network and IT services.
