Help make McMaster more accessible
Students, faculty and staff are invited to take a 10-minute anonymous survey on improving the accessibility of buildings and infrastructure on campus, including all physical spaces, technology used in campus buildings, and transportation to and from campus.
The Barrier-Free Design Standards are part of McMaster’s efforts to promote accessibility on all properties, for all individuals.
The standards will determine how McMaster will apply Universal Design strategies so students, staff, faculty, and the overall campus community can confidently navigate campuses independently.
It will support and enhance the accessibility requirements of the Ontario Building Code and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), including its future post-secondary standard.
The survey takes about 10 minutes, and all responses will be anonymous.

- Wednesday, Oct. 4 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Mills Memorial Library

Please stop in to share your priorities for accessibility on campus and your ideas to make McMaster barrier-free.
