McCall MacBain International Fellowship: Applications close Jan. 10, 2023

There are up to 10 McCall MacBain International Fellowships available to Canadian students enrolled full-time in a first entry undergraduate degree program at McMaster or McGill University. The fellowship includes language training, academic study, work experience for one term and two retreats.

The McCall MacBain Foundation is looking for applicants with engagement in school and community activities; leadership potential and entrepreneurial drive; desire to go outside one’s comfort zone; and strong character.

Apply by January 10, 2023

Applications are due January 10, 2023 at 4p.m. E.T. Students selected for interview will be notified by January 31st, 2023, for interviews taking place in February.

Eligibility criteria

Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Between 19-24 years old on January 1, 2023
Enrolled full-time in a first-entry undergraduate degree at McMaster or McGill University
Minimum CGPA of 3.0 & in good standing academically and non-academically
Completed at least 2-3 academic terms (dependent on degree length) & have not met requirements to graduate prior to departure in summer 2023
Have not already left Canada for an independent study abroad experience of 8+ months in the last 3 years
