University and CUPE reach a tentative agreement
McMaster and CUPE 3906 Unit 2 have reached a tentative collective agreement. This unit represents approximately 300 sessional faculty and hourly rated sessional music faculty at the university.
The agreement will now go for ratification by both the union and the university. The current agreement expired August 31, 2021.
McMaster negotiates with all employee groups based on a set of core principles including bargaining in good faith and committing to long-term, collaborative relationships with union partners.
