As of December 1, 2021, nominations are now open for the President’s Awards for Outstanding Service in 2021. This has clearly been an extraordinary year and McMaster community members are asked to identify employees who have contributed above and beyond during the 2021 calendar year. Recognition plays a critical role in retaining talent, celebrating our diverse employee community, and promoting continued progress towards institutional values and goals. Please consider those who are consistently outstanding in their service and/or innovation; or, who repeatedly enhance our University’s reputation through their outstanding work.
The President’s Awards for Outstanding Service were introduced to acknowledge employees who are:

- full or part-time employees from operations, research and ancillary departments or units of McMaster University and;
- employed on a continuing basis or for a term or contract of one or more year’s duration.
A maximum of ten awards to individuals or groups (with a maximum of two group awards) along with up to one lifetime achievement and one early achievement award are offered.
