Hamilton Police arrest suspect after alleged assault on Westdale trail


Hamilton Police have arrested a suspect in connection to an alleged assault that happened on a walking trail in Westdale.

A victim reported being assaulted while walking on Caleb’s Walk Trail in the area of Dalewood Crescent and Oak Knoll Drive just before 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 30.

Police have arrested 28-year-old Tony Robert Gordon of Hamilton. Gordon is facing several charges including assault, failure to comply with probation and drug possession.

Investigators are asking area residents to review their surveillance footage and to contact police if they have any information related to this case.
