The Cooperative of Indigenous Students Studies & Alumni (CISSA) has been working with the Ontario University Student Association (OUSA) over the last year to develop the Indigenous Student Policy paper.

In effort to center the lived experiences of Indigenous students at McMaster, we will be hosting circle work session(s) alongside Indigenous Student Services wellness councilor Andrew Nussey. There are only 10 spots available. The goal of these session(s) is to provide a safe space for Indigenous students to share their experiences and thoughts regarding how McMaster can better support and serve its’ Indigenous undergraduate student population.

Notably, everything said during these session(s) will be kept anonymous, and will directly inform the policies and recommendations written within the paper. All student participants will be compensated with a $35 (either cheque or gift card) and a medicine bundle.
