Seminar examines Great Lakes Water Wars

Photo courtesy of Faculty of Engineering.”]Peter Annin, veteran conflict and environment writer, and former Newsweek correspondent, will delve into the political maneuvers and water diversion schemes that have been proposed for the Great Lakes in a seminar organized by the Dofasco Centre for Engineering and Public Policy at McMaster University.

Annin's recently published book on this topic, The Great Lakes Water Wars, has been called the definitive book on the Great Lakes water diversion controversy.

The Dofasco Centre for Engineering and Public Policy provides study at the graduate level to enhance students' understanding of engineering, science and public policy, and how public policy affects technological, social, economic and ecological systems leading to sustainability.
