McMaster will host approximately 400 soccer players this month as part of the 2015 Pan Am Games – but that’s not the University’s only connection to this year’s Games.
A number of McMaster alumni and coaches will take part in the Pan Am Games, looking to help keep athletes healthy and win medals in a number of sports.
They include:
• Alumna/DBAC physiotherapist Dianna Moulden, a medical practitioner for Soccer
• Alumna Lisa Thomaidis, head coach of Canada’s Women’s Basketball team
• Marauders basketball assistant coach Anne Marie Thuss, team manager for Women’s Basketball
• Marauders wrestling assistant coach Paul Ragusa, coaching support for Men’s Wrestling
• Alumnus Andrew Yorke, a member of Canada’s Triathlon team
• Alumnus Adam van Koeverden, a member of Canada’s Spring Kayak team
