Volunteer to become a campus Fire Warden

When the fire alarm goes off, do you know what to do?

During a fire alarm, everyone on campus must stop what they are doing and exit the building via the nearest emergency exit. The evacuation process also involves the use of volunteers (or appointed individuals) in each building who function as “Fire Wardens.”

Fire Wardens are identified with a bright orange and yellow vest, and are responsibilities for providing general aid during a fire alarm.

The campus community is always looking for new volunteers to help out as primary Fire Wardens, or as back-up to help cover vacations or sick days. Training is provided to all new Fire Wardens.
