The University and Unifor Local 5555, Unit 1 have reached a tentative contract agreement. For the past few weeks, the two parties have been meeting to negotiate a renewed agreement. Unifor Local 5555, Unit 1 is comprised of approximately 2,400 non-academic administrative, professional and technical employees at the University. Both parties will now forward the tentative agreement for ratification.
