Search for a new Dean of Science

The search for a new Dean of Science is now underway. Senate has appointed an ad hoc committee to assist in the search for a new Dean. To view the member list of the Selection Committee, please visit the Provost’s website:

Odgers Berndtson are the search firm consultants assisting us with the Dean of Science search. They will be contacting people over the coming weeks to gain a better understanding of McMaster’s interests and needs to fill this position. You are encouraged to communicate your views on the Dean of Science role and to provide nominations to Odgers Berndtson directly (Gerri Woodford, gerri.woodford@odgersberndtson.comor Jane Griffith, jane.griffith@odgersberndtson.com) or by contacting any one of the committee members. For input to be incorporated into the early deliberations of the committee it should be sent before Friday, June 17^th, 2016. Communications to the Selection Committee will be shared within the Committee but otherwise will be considered as confidential.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in this important selection process. Please note that self-nominations will also be accepted.
