Register now for the McMaster Symposium on Education and Cognition

Earlybird registration (limited to first 80) is now open for the 4th annual McMaster Symposium on Education & Cognition (EdCog 2016), which takes place August 11-12 at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Accommodations on campus are also available for those travelling to Hamilton. This meeting aims to bring together cognitive scientists, educators and policy makers to explore how cognitive science can be applied to educational policy and instructional design.

Over the last three years, we have had the privilege of hosting an outstanding lineup of speakers. This tradition continues with our confirmed speakers for this year: John Dunlosky (Kent State), Catherine Overson (UNH), Danny Oppenheimer (UCLA), Scott Watter (McMaster) and Greg Moran (HEQCO). In addition, our Day 1 evidence-based workshops include new programs on 1. Collaborative Testing and 2. Concept Mapping/Note Taking to complement our existing programs.
