New website for parents of young workers

Workplace Safety and Prevention Services  in conjunction with the Ministry of Labour has just launched a new website Bring Safety Home for parents of young workers regarding workplace safety.  Every year more than 6,000 young workers in Ontario are injured seriously.  The website focuses specifically on helping parents and other influencers (friends, teachers, etc.)  to make work safer for youth.  Resources, video perspectives on young worker safety,  and information on worker rights are some of the features included on the website.  For more information regarding  young worker awareness please contact EOHSS at extension 24352 or by email at eohss@mcmaster.ca.
