McMaster historians awarded Canadian Historical Association book prize

The People and the Bay, written by McMaster historians Nancy Bouchier and Ken Cruikshank, has been awarded a Canadian Historical Association Clio prize.

The Canadian Historical Association’s Clio Prize is an annual award given for meritorious publications The People and the Bay book coveror for exceptional contributions by individuals or organizations to regional history.

Bouchier and Cruikshank’s The People and the Bay: A Social an Environmental History of Hamilton Habour was published in 2016 by UBC Press. The book explores the relationship between Hamilton Habour and the people who came to live on its shores.
