Maintenance service requests now available in Mosaic

Facility Services successfully completed its move to Mosaic’s Maintenance Management Module this past Saturday. Users can now submit a maintenance service requests in Mosaic as well as look up the status of their outstanding requests. Links to the new functions are available in the “My Work” tab.

The previous system, AiM Facilities Management System, is still available to view historical services requests. Work orders that were open at the time of the switch are now available in Mosaic with the same work order number as they had in AiM.

The new module is fully integrated with Mosaic’s finance functions and will provide service requestors and departmental administrators the ability to easily track the current status of work orders, see work order details, and view all associated costs.

The scope of work that Facilities Services provides will not change; however, all work estimates will be funded by the department that is requesting the work.

A short training course is also available to help all McMaster staff and faculty use the new system. This course guides users through the process of submitting a service request in Mosaic. Please log in to the Mosaic Learning Hub to complete the online course called “MM Service Request ESS”. Once you log in, the course will appear under the “My Courses” section
