Incidents during Light Up the Night

Investigations are continuing after McMaster Security received several complaints of gender-based violence during the recent Light Up the Night event.

Security received a complaint of a sexual assault in a washroom located in the Burke Science Building. Four other complaints were received about unwanted, non-consensual touching during the evening event.

The University notified Hamilton Police and we are working together to investigate these matters.
