Fraudulent scheme targeting international students
The McMaster community is cautioned about a fraudulent scheme targeting international students. The scheme involves students receiving threatening phone calls with warnings of kidnappings and harm should the student not take specific action.
Police warn students if they receive a call like this they should notify Police and the University as soon as possible.
