Construction along College Crescent

Construction of the Hatch Centre, adjacent to the John Hodgins Engineering Building, will impact pedestrian and vehicular traffic on College Crescent.

The existing crosswalks on College Crescent will be removed and temporary crosswalks will be placed for pedestrian safety.

Railing and fencing will be increased to ensure pedestrian safety and create alternate pedestrian traffic routes and the existing sidewalks will be affected by construction.

There will be lane restrictions as the width of the road lanes will be reduced, two-way traffic on College Crescent will still be maintained.

Some of the accessible spaces in front of IAHS will be removed and new accessible spaces will be created closer toward Lot I. This will not result in a decrease in total number of accessible spaces in this area. The number of parallel spaces may be reduced.
