Community consultation event – Fossil Fuels Divestment group

McMaster’s President’s Advisory Committee on Fossil Fuels Divestment is hosting a community consultation event Monday, Oct. 17  from 3:00 – 5:00 pm in Convocation Hall.

The Advisory Committee was formed by President Patrick Deane to review the issue and make recommendations to the Finance Committee of the Board of Governors, which is responsible for the University’s investment policies. As part of this work, the Committee is seeking input from students, faculty and staff.

An online questionnaire will also be available to seek input from members of the community who aren’t able to attend the event on Oct. 17.
