Ambassador of Canada to the Netherlands to visit McMaster

James Lambert, Canada’s ambassador to the Netherlands, is visiting McMaster today to meet with faculty and students involved in the University’s Master of Science Program in Global Health. Maastricht University of the Netherlands and McMaster jointly launched the program in 2010.

The visit is part of a larger initiative focused on creating further innovative partnerships and strengthening bilateral relations between Canada and the Netherlands. Lambert will meet with Andrea Baumann, associate vice-president of Global Health; other Global Health program officials; and University dignitaries, including President Patrick Deane, John Kelton, dean and vice-president of the health sciences, and Peter Mascher, associate vice-president of international affairs.
