There was a brief evacuation at the John Hodgins Engineering Building Monday afternoon. A sensor in a lab went off, triggering a response from the Hamilton Fire Department. Equipment in the first-floor lab was checked and no problems were found. People were allowed back inside the building when fire officials gave the all clear signal.
