Troy Milleker is a Toronto-based freelance musician and a graduate of Indiana University's Master of Music program, who has performed with ensembles throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. He was most recently featured as soloist, playing Dittersdorf Concerto with the Corktown Chamber Orchestra.
In addition, Troy is a dedicated teacher, currently Professor of Double Bass at McMaster University in Hamilton and double bass instructor at Cardinal Carter School for the Arts in Toronto.
Naomi Barron has recently returned to Canada after twelve years of performing abroad. In 2006 Naomi was invited by Maestro Lorin Maazel to join in the formation of Orquesta Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia.
Currently a freelance musician in Toronto, Naomi spends her summers in Jacksonville, Oregon where she is in her ninth season as principal cellist of the Britt Festival Orchestra and is regularly featured as a soloist. An active chamber musician, Naomi is former cellist of "Trio Ancor", an award winning piano trio based in Spain.
Naomi holds a Bachelor of Music from Boston University and a Master of Music from Rice University in Houston.
This performance will include works by Dave Anderson, Rossini, & Bach.
