McMaster University Campus Sustainability Day

The Office of Sustainability hosts the McMaster University Campus Sustainability Day event each October. The McMaster community is invited to join in the celebration of efforts and achievements made in continuing to evolve and enhance our culture of sustainability.

Sustainability Day also coincides with the release of the McMaster Sustainability Annual Report. Visit the Office of Sustainability website on October 18th to view the 2012 Annual Report.

Who: Members of the Community
When: Thursday, October 18th, 2012, 11 AM – 2 PM
Where: McMaster University Student Centre (MUSC) Marketplace
What: Groups, services, departments and other partners highlighting their contribution to sustainability; free Fair Trade coffee available for those who bring a reusable mug and free local apples

McMaster's twice-annual Electronics Collection Reuse and Recycle event will also be taking place on October 18th. If you have outdated or unwanted electronics equipment, please take this opportunity to champion sustainability in your area by taking it to one of six collection locations to be fully recycled.
