Is social isolation an emerging epidemic among aging populations? What are the consequences of social isolation on the health and well-being of older people? Join us as we explore these questions with Dr. Parminder Raina, a Professor in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics at McMaster University. He was awarded a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Geroscience, holds the inaugural Raymond and Margaret Labarge Chair in Optimal Aging and is the lead principal investigator of the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging.
