Dr. Joanne Reeve, University of Warwick, UK, is presenting Time to Retire Evidence Based Medicine? Primary Care Leading the Practice Based Evidence Revolution, at the 18th Annual Carl Moore Lectureship on Thursday, May 18 2017 at 4:30pm. This lecture is held at the David Braley Health Sciences Centre, 100 Main St. W. Hamilton.
Dr. Reeve is an academic General Practitioner from England, who combines a clinical role in inner city Liverpool with a post as Clinical Leader and Research Lead at Warwick Primary Care.
Her work tackles two of the biggest challenges facing modern health care systems: namely, finding primary care solutions for the growing burden of chronic, complex illness; and building capacity for high quality, meaningful primary care scholarship to support the necessary changes.
Dr. Reeve is recent past Chair of the UK Society for Academic Primary Care (SAPC), and now leads the Society's work to promote GP Scholarship at the heart of development of the primary care workforce.
