Addressing a capacity crowd at the newly-revived McMaster Alumni Luncheon series, L.R. (Red) Wilson spoke about the importance of McMaster to a thriving city of Hamilton, and encouraged the University and city to continue to work together in an ever-competitive world.

“There is no need to be satisfied with just being one of the teams in the game. We can aspire to be among the best we can compete to win,” Wilson said.

“We must embrace appropriate risk-taking, and follow an outward-and upward-looking path. We must invest more in developing skills and talent.”
