In this brand new video series, the Daily News catches up with some of the student-athletes and coaches making their third Vanier Cup appearance with the McMaster Marauders.

Dahlin Brooks is a fifth-year student in the Faculty of Social Sciences who hails from Kitchener, Ont.

In this video clip, the veteran wide receiver talks about mentoring some of the up-and-coming players on the Marauders football team, and what it felt like to play his final home game at McMaster’s Ron Joyce Stadium.

Brooks won a Vanier Cup national championship with the team in 2011, and played a crucial role in the team’s run to the 2012 championship game. He’ll be suiting up one last time for the Marauders this weekend in Montreal.

McMaster will play the University of Montreal on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. at Percival Molson Stadium for the 2014 Vanier Cup.
