In the November instalment of This month with the President, Patrick Deane talks about university rankings.
From Maclean’s and the Globe and Mail to Shanghai Jiao Tong and the Times Higher Education, there are many rankings published each year. Each, says Deane, tells us something different about the institution, and are “snapshots” from a different perspective. Taken collectively, they show that the institution is in good shape and stacks up well nationally and internationally.
