This month with the President: Convocation an ‘incredibly exciting’ time of year
More than 5,000 students will earn degrees from McMaster during this year’s spring Convocation ceremonies, and President Patrick Deane enjoys every single moment of it.
“I find it invigorating,” says Deane, who has shaken the hands of tens of thousands of eager graduands over the past four years. “These are many very different, very exciting futures that are being initiated at that point.”
