Taking McMaster on the road

A team of students hit the road Monday, taking a little McMaster with them to Ontario high schools.

Mission2Mac, the McMaster Alumni Association’s introduction and orientation program, helps first-year students transition in to university life. This year, current students will travel to schools in 12 cities, in addition to those in the Hamilton area.

The program representatives will give high school students an idea of what campus life is like, what to expect in classes and from professors, the best places to get food on campus, and the best hang out spots.

Last year more than 1,000 incoming students and their families took part in the program.
