Take a ride on the sustainable side

McMaster will partner with MACycle to host the annual ‘Bike to Work Day’ on Monday, May 30.

Beginning at 7 a.m. snacks will be handed out at the major entrances to campus. New this year is a free bike wash and repair station, which will be set up from 12-2 p.m. in front of the E.T. Clarke Building, beside Mary Keyes. MACycle will be present for safety checks.

There are prize packs for participants who post a photo of themselves biking to work on social media using the hashtag #biketoworkmcmaster. Photos must be posted no later than 4 p.m. First place will receive a free one-month SoBi membership, t-shirt, bike decals, Smart Commute swag and a water bottle holder. Second and third place will receive a free one month SoBi membership and Smart Commute swag. Winners will be chosen at random.
