The Spring 2014 edition of the McMaster Times is hot off the press and landing in alumni mailboxes this week. Published twice per year, the magazine includes a broad selection of campus news, research updates, alumni milestones and more. Martyn Burke graduated from McMaster in 1964, and has built a remarkable career as an acclaimed writer, journalist and filmmaker. The Times caught up with the globe-trotting Burke at his Toronto home for the latest edition of Meet McMaster.

Then & Now

Esteemed alumna Margaret Lyons became one of Canada’s most revered broadcast news producers during her long career at the BBC and CBC. Jemma Wolfe is an aspiring writer and current editor of The Silhouette. The pair sat down at McMaster’s Lyons New Media Centre to swap stories, share ideas and reminisce about working in campus media.
