Students in McMaster’s Studio Art Program recently came together with students from Queen’s University to create works of botanical-themed art using a unique large-scale printing press designed by McMaster Engineering students. The press is one of only a handful of its kind in Canada.

The initiative was a collaboration between McMaster students in Applied Humanities 3W03/4W03 taught by Brianna Palmer, Associate Professor, McMaster School of the Arts , and fourth year Print Major students taught by Otis Tamasauskas, professor of Fine Arts at Queen’s University. The collaboration took place in the Dr. Robert and Andrée Rhéaume Fitzhenry Studios and Atrium.
