McMaster hosts second annual Leadership Summit for Women

Ann Decter, YWCA Canada's director of advocacy and public policy, gave the keynote speech at the second annual Leadership Summit for Women. The event was held Saturday at Hamilton's City Hall.


McMaster and the Hamilton YWCA teamed up for the second annual Leadership Summit for Women Saturday.

The event took place at City Hall and offered education on oppression, the intersection of race and gender and the dismantling of the glass ceiling.

The summit began with a keynote address from Ann Decter, YWCA Canada’s director of advocacy and public policy. A number of McMaster faculty – including professor Susan Fast and associate professor Dawn Martin-Hill – took part as session panelists.
