This weekend the Mosaic team successfully switched McMaster to its new finance and research post-award system: PeopleSoft.

“I want to congratulate the Mosaic team on achieving this crucial milestone,” said Roger Couldrey, vice-president (Administration), on behalf of the Mosaic executive committee.

“The training and orientation courses have prepared many people, but in several ways, the work is just beginning for the faculty and staff of the university who have to familiarize themselves with the system’s day-to-day operation and drive the benefits we are all hoping for.

“The Mosaic team has delivered the first modules of McMaster’s new ERP system on schedule and on budget. On behalf of the entire campus community I would like to to say that we are all proud of your accomplishments. Thank you so very much.”

The new system opened to users at 9 a.m. on December 2. The new system can be accessed at http://mosaic.mcmaster.ca. Users can log-in using their MAC ID and password. To access the PeopleSoft system, users must be on the McMaster network or attached through the McMaster VPN. (Users connecting from a Hamilton Health Sciences or St. Joseph’s Healthcare facility do NOT need to use the VPN.)

Information regarding post-launch support will be available in the “Support” tab at http://mosaic.mcmaster.ca.

System orientation and training sessions [https://mosaictraining.mcmaster.ca] continue for individuals who will need to use the new system. Courses, both online and in classroom, are still available.
