Marching band members across the country might be a little green with envy today.
That’s because the McMaster Marching Band was named “Best Out of Town Unit” at Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Parade in Montreal.
The parade – the largest in Canada – began at noon, with temperatures hovering around 14 below.
But that didn’t stop hundreds of thousands of Montrealers from enjoying the parade, which the McMaster Marching Band has taken part in since 2011.
The parade and McMaster’s award are featured in the Montreal Gazette.
