Convocation is a special time in every student’s academic career.

Each spring and fall, a select number of students are chosen to represent their faculty or program (and in some cases, more than one) at Convocation. Their task? To capture the shared experiences and emotions of hundreds of students, and express them in front of peers, faculty, University staff and family members. No pressure.

Get to know each one of this year’s 10 valedictorians, including: where they’re from; what they were involved in at McMaster; and a little piece of wisdom from their valedictory address.
