Facility Services community day of service

35 McMaster employees, 8 hours of work and 4 Hamilton community organizations makes for a resoundingly successful day!

In October, McMaster Facility Services participated in its second bi-annual Community Day of Service event. The purpose of the day is to provide an opportunity for facility employees to learn about local community organizations through volunteer work. Employees were matched with The Eva Rothwell Centre, Ronald McDonald House, CityKidz and Mission Services.

They participated in a variety of tasks including cleaning, moving furniture, sorting toy and food donations and general repairs.

A special thanks goes to all employee participants and the agency partners who all made for a seamless and meaningful day!
