McMaster Engineering professor John Bandler has been appointed an officer of the Order of Canada.
Bandler, who is also an artist, novelist and playwright, has been recognized for his work in the field of microwave engineering.
He is a professor emeritus in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
