The annual 5 Days for the Homeless campaign sees students agree to live by a set of rules, including sleeping outside, eating only what other people provide and giving up their cell phones, in support of youth shelter Notre Dame House.

Eight commerce students are living outside the Student Centre this week to help raise money and awareness for young homeless people in Hamilton.

The annual 5 Days for the Homeless campaign sees students agree to live by a set of rules, including sleeping outside, eating only what other people provide and giving up their cell phones, in support of youth shelter Notre Dame House.

The team’s goal is to raise $12,000 to buy laptops and desks for the shelter’s homework program.

This year’s sleepers include: Riley Booth, Jeff Notenboom, Kasey Lambert, Jenthro Krause, Shannon Moore, Midhat Malik, Alex Duffield, Stacie Massia and Viola Cieplechowicz.
