Alumni Association looking for your two cents

125 Penny Drive

The McMaster Alumni Association, in collaboration with the Willy Dog hotdog cart, is holding a penny drive in support of the University's 125th anniversary bursary fund. The fund will support Hamilton-area students in financial need.

The tiny penny might be heading toward its demise, but it can still have a big impact.

The McMaster Alumni Association is looking for as many coppers as it can as part of its penny drive, in support of the University’s 125th anniversary bursary fund.

The fund will support students in the Hamilton area who demonstrate financial need.

Collection containers can be found around campus, including at the Willy Dog cart beside the Student Centre courtyard.

Hot dog proprietor Jim Bontaine will match donations penny for penny up to $250.

If you’d like a collection container in your area, contact Meggie MacDougall at ext. 24667 or macdouml@mcmaster.ca. Pre-rolling of large donations is also appreciated.
