6 things you shouldn’t miss at Friday’s Homecoming Expo

Alumni’s favourite weekend of the year is fast approaching, and Marauders from all over are coming to town to celebrate McMaster during Homecoming.

To kick off the weekend McMaster will host its second annual Homecoming expo – think food trucks and a Ferris wheel – on Friday, Sept. 26 on the lawn of the Burke Science Building.

You might be overwhelmed with everything happening Friday, so here are 6 things you should definitely make time for at the Homecoming expo:

1. Rocking out with local bands Of Gentleman & Cowards, He Flew the Coop, and Aukland.

2. Riding the Ferris wheel

3. Joining in the pep rally led by Coach Stephan Ptaszek at 1 p.m.

4. Snagging a free HOCO t-shirt after the pep rally

5. Trying to win tickets for the football game and Lil’ Jon concert

6. Refueling yourself with food from some of Hamilton’s best food trucks, including Gorilla Cheese, Dirty South, Smokes, Karma ChaMEALeon, and more.
